David Pineda-Oliva is associate professor of philosophy at the University of Girona, Spain. His areas of research are the philosophy of mind and metaphysics and his main contributions concern the mind-body problem, mental causation, emotions and desires. He has published several papers on these issues in journals such as Philosophy and Phenomenological Research, Dialectica, or Theoria, among others. He has also published two Spanish books, La mente humana and Sobre las emociones, both at Cátedra.
